The innovative LiveCaddie App is more than just a GPS application for golfers. It is a complete system offering unique benefits not only to the players, but to course management and spectators as well.
Free to use through Spring 2017. At some later date, continued use will require a small annual subscription fee, paid via In-App Purchase. Golf clubs may choose to cover this fee as part of membership, for their course(s).
To create an account, press Register button, and fill out the requested information.
Your account will be associated with the e-mail address that you provide.
In Sweden, you may instead use your GIT GOLF-ID and password.
This account will also work at livecaddie.com, to show your completed rounds and statistics.
And on the tracker map of each course at livecaddie.com / Courses, to see your friends locations as they play a golf course.

What You See Is What You Play!
By integrating high quality 3D graphics, players can see all features of the course clearly. Vivid imagery showing elevation changes and intricate course topography enable a more complete approach to shot strategy.
Included in all Course guides:
* 3D Course guide including zoom functionality.
* Stunning 3D Animated Flyovers on every course.
* View your dynamic landing zone based on your club of choice and your driving distances.
* View real-time distances to/from any POI on the course.
* Distances to actual Pin position(*) or Center of green.

Statistics - with a click of a button
The ability to log shots with one click in real time provides a unique and detailed post round analysis. A statistics module automatically calculates key scoring stats such as driving accuracy and distance, shot patterns, and greens in regulation. In addition, players can view shot tracking in a hole by hole format.
LiveScoring - real time score and shot tracking
As players use the app throughout the round, their position and current score and shots made will be displayed on the Tracker Map section of the LiveCaddie Widget for that golf course (www.livecaddie.com / Courses). Additionally, the current score for all players on the course is displayed in a leaderboard. The unique capabilities of using the LiveCaddie App in conjunction with the LiveCaddie Widget not only enhances the experience of daily rounds, but also tournaments and events.
* Actual Pin position if the golf course uses our MI Pin Manager system. Let your clubs management know that you are using LiveCaddie App, and would appreciate the accuracy and convenience of daily-updated pin positions.
Background GPS:
* Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
* By default, when you are in the middle of a round of golf, LiveCaddie periodically checks your GPS location, even if you are looking at a different app, or have put your phone to sleep. This is done so that when you re-open the app, your GPS location will be accurate. As a result, you can manually put the phone to sleep between each hole, or even after each stroke - without losing accuracy for measuring distances or logging strokes, and without waiting for the GPS location to settle on your current location.
* If you do not re-open LiveCaddie for 45 minutes, it assumes you are no longer playing, and no longer uses any battery life.
* If you want to temporarily stop the use of GPS, do "Back To Main Menu" before pressing Home to leave the app.
* If you are more concerned about battery life than immediately having an accurate GPS location, in LiveCaddie / Settings / Miscellaneous preferences, slide "Low power (use less battery)" to ON. Among other changes, this will stop background GPS.
